I paddled 29 miles today.

Layne Logue picked me up around 8:30 at the Mulberry hotel. He brought me an egg and sausage muffin and a black coffee. Then he took me and my kayak back to the river and helped me unload it and put it in the Yazoo river.

I managed to get all of my gear back into my 14 foot kayak. Hot paddle a mile down the Yazoo river. I was back on the Mississippi at 10 o’clock.

It was an uneventful day. It was hot and it was not much breeze. I managed to find a camp spot on an island that had phone service. Not great data service though. I had two bars and LTE.
