Today I ate lunch out of the back of my car at a nice historical marker near the Yellowstone River. I was within sight of a spot on the river where Lewis and Clark camped. I was eating at the site of the first Crow Indian civil agent, Fellows D. Pease. The building was erected in 1870 but burned down a year later. It was later moved to a more sheltered location. The commission is still preserved by one of his grandsons, Ben Pease.
I am at the Travelodge in Livingston, Montana. It is 58 miles to Gardiner, Montana where I check in for work tomorrow morning. I plan to leave here around 7:30 MDT.
For dinner tonight I ate shrimp tacos with salad and rice at the casino on the same parking lot as the Travelodge.
I got free beer as long as I gambled. I played for nickels and had three beers. I lost about $5.00 and I thought that was fair. Then I hit a straight flush and won all my money back. So I quit and came back to my room to write my blog.
